We at Tempus Fugit have had another good year albeit the economic climate has meant many companies have tightened belts and been cognisant of spending than ever previously encountered.

Tempus Fugit can assist companies in improving their bottom line by consolidation of processes, procedures, products, data efficiency and reduction in time necessary to perform certain payroll tasks.

Some of our new clients this year implementing a combination of our products and services have been;

  • Jalco Australia implementing Opus One Workforce Manager to automate their labour force and interface directly into Micropay Payroll;
  • Kerry Ingredients, a multinational in Australia which has combined their payroll and time & attendance systems from Micropay Payroll and Kronos T&A to Opus One Enterprise, it makes sense to have one supplier and one truly integrated data source rather than 2 or more;
  • BlueStar Print Group which is a multi-national in New Zealand across 10 or more plants combining several payrolls and T&A systems to Opus One Enterprise for their operation in a centralised manner thus reducing licensing and providing accurate data online.

We have also undertaken more consulting, training and modifications for
existing clients to enable them to get the best possible information in and
out of Opus One including QSR, KFC, Mitre10, Hally Labels to name a few.

One message that we would like to convey this coming year is "INVEST IN
KNOWLEDGE". This relates specifically to refresher courses and training new and existing staff in Opus One to get the best possible results and
information in and out. Investing in your people to have more knowledge of
what can be achieved within Opus One.

Tempus Fugit has a new logo, a new website and some new personnel this month too. Our new logo and website are cleaner and crisper.

Our new person here in Sydney is Graham Russell who is heading up Sales, so please welcome him aboard.

With the advent of Windows 7 and Server 2008 there will be a round of
upgrades that will need to be performed in the coming months. Opus One has now been moved to Progress Open Edge 10.   Should any client be moving to a new operating system or platform please ensure to contact us so that we can assist you in the process.

Tempus Fugit also provides other services such as outsourcing, hosting and bureau services for clients such as Impress NZ where  we operate their entire payroll process,

AAF (Australian Aluminium Finishing) where we host their Opus One applications and they run them,

Fonterra was also outsourced where Tempus Fugit operated their Time & Attendance into their Oracle payroll and,

Eclipse in Australia, Tempus Fugit is their bureau provider for payroll services.

Lastly we wish you all a very special Christmas and a wonderful new year, we certainly are looking forward to 2010.

All the very best and please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
