Opus One being a completely integrated business application, much of the basic or perceived information on the person is available across all modules. Opus One is a person centric application meaning anyone that has an association with your enterprise can be kept within Opus One. ESTABLISHMENT CONTROL Allows the user to immediately see where there is over or under resourcing based on configured Full Time Equivalencies and Position control. OnePeople allows the user to define Positions and the number of each Position in each Work Group (Department, Team, classification, category down to 9 levels). When a Person is Appointed to or Transferred from a Position the system automatically maintains the Strength for the Position/Work Group combination. This allows the user to immediately see where there is over or under resourcing in the organization and who works in a particular Work Group or Position along with their Position History. REMUNERATION "Defining the way in which people are rewarded" Payroll Elements define the way in which people are rewarded. These are the components, which make up a person's remuneration. The precise value of the Elements can be defined either under a Contract or at a Personal Level. Elements can be paid or unpaid. For example, the remuneration value of a company car can be costed and allocated to the appropriate department, but not appear on the employee's payslip or salary sacrifice. RECRUITMENT OnePeople records the receipt of Specific or General Applications and automatically tells the user if previous applications are on file for the applicant. Information can be recorded on many aspects of the applicant, which, since OnePeople stores all people in a single database table, is automatically linked to the applicant once they are appointed to a Position. Dynamic links to Microsoft® Word will allow the user to quickly produce Acknowledgment, Interview, Acceptance and Rejection letters via templates Health & Safety OnePeople recognizes that a person's exposure to Work Place Hazards may come from what they do, where they work and the equipment they use. OnePeople allows the user to define the hazards associated with each of these and therefore automatically identifies the real extent of Hazard Exposure based on its existing knowledge of the Role and Position of the Person in the work place. OnePeople also records Accidents, their Causes and Remedies with details of associated Injuries COMPETENCY & SKILLS MODELING The user sets the Core or Expert competencies and their associated skills. OnePeople then allows a set of skills to be defined, as those required in a particular Position. These are compared to the skills, which have been identified as possessed by a Person in that Position. The difference being a Skill Shortage or Surplus. The difference can be compared to Skills associated with Training Courses and Training Plan established DIARY Diary contains both automatic entries generated by the system such as Transfers, Anniversaries and Appraisals Due. The user can also input manual entries. The diary provides a succinct historic picture of all events associated with a person which is invaluable for Appraisals and other reviews TRAINING MODULE Covers both the Administrative and Skills aspects of training management. Training courses can be Scheduled, Cancelled, People Booked on them, and their Attendance Confirmed providing a detailed record of the training which a person has received.
