Time & Attendance is recording your people coming and going and allowing the
award or contract rules to calculate what to pay based on the start and end
times of the person, whether they are an employee, contractor, associate and
their unique set of working conditions or rules. These times are generally
captured electronically via finger scanners, hand scanners, security
systems, proximity readers, swipe cards, barcodes, telephony, spreadsheet,
point of sale terminals, PC logon. Basically any device or mechanism that
can record who it was, when it was, where it was and possibly what they were
doing for the company is catered for.
OneTime can be configured to activate time based employment definitions.
These include hourly payment types (time & half, normal time, penal rates,
holidays etc.), allowances (meal, travel, shift, hours bank), annualized
hours, units, automatic non-paid break, insufficient break overtime, shifts,
split shifts, split costings, deductions, positional changes, workplace
movements, higher duties, supervisor, rostered days off, or hazardous
allowances .
